1. Fellowship/Scholarship
The university provided merit and merit-cum-means scholarship @ of Rs 350/- and Rs. 300/- per month respectively to under-graduate students of all the three faculties viz. Agricultural / Veterinary Science & A. H. and Forestry. The scholarship has been awarded to 10% students of the intake capacity. All the students belonging to SC/ST categories have been paid District Welfare Scholarship @ Rs. 425/- per month. Two Scholarships were also awarded by ICAR on merit basis @ Rs. 800/- per month. Seventy five percent of intake capacity of Post-Graduate students in Agriculture, Veterinary Sci. & A. H. and Forestry faculties have also been awarded a fellowship@ Rs. 1200/- per month who secured OGPA 7.500 out of 10.000 whereas Ph. D. students were paid fellowship at the rate of 1500/- per month. Student belonging to the states other then Jharkhand and admitted through ICAR received National Talent Scholarship @ Rs. 1000/- per month.
2. Internship/RAWE
After completion of the graduate course requirements, the students of veterinary science underwent intensive internship programme for 6 months.

        (a) Birsa Jayanti Celebration on 15th November 2006.
        (b) Cultural programmes at College level.

(c) Selected student participates in All Indian Agricultural University Youth Festival Sponsored by ICAR.

       (a) Annual Sports Meet in different faculties..
         (b) Selected students participates in All India Agricultural University Sports & Games meet sponsored by ICAR.

9. Railway Concession
       (a) Students availed railway concession for home going during semester break/vacation.
       (b) Post-graduate students also availed railway concession for going to other institutions for collection of reference material for their research work.
