Training and Placement
Placement Cell Placement Cell for the students was
created in 2006. Institutions / Organizations / Industries are
being contacted for employment of graduates and postgraduate
students. The achievements of Placement Cell are as under;
- State Bank of India selected 34 students as Officer'
Marketing.
- Five students were selected as Field Executive by BASIX
India Ltd.
- Ficher Tractor selected one student as Project Officer.
- Ten students were called for interview by Triveni
Engineering Industries Ltd., Noida out of which one student was
finally selected as Office' Training (Extension and
Development).
- Pest Control (India) selected ten students for interview out
of which one was placed as Management Trainee.
- Two students were selected as Project Officer by
Professional Assistance for Development Action (PRADAN).
The concept of placement cell is to assist graduating students to
find gainful employment. At BAU, a centralized placement cell
coordinates this activity. The Cell since 2007 is working under
the control of Directorate of Student Welfare. Students have
access to information on job opportunities and higher studies
within the country and abroad. The pertinent catalogue,
announcement and newspapers are procured and made available to the
students. A compendium of students graduating with Bachelor’s,
Masters and Doctoral degrees during the last five years have been
prepared and is being made available to organizations interested
in recruiting prospective students. Several organizations have
approached the University for conducting campus recruitments.
Private agencies involved in selecting suitable candidates for
higher studies abroad are also making presentations for the
benefit of students with the assistance of placement cell. Several
students have been benefited from this facility. At faculty level,
student counseling & guidance cell is functioning with a Prof. I/c
under the guidance of the Dean.
